The images depict two men carefully carrying the newborn baby, still attached to the placenta, as they bring it from the sea to the shore. Hadia Hosny El Said, a tourist who сарtᴜгed and shared the photos, took them from the balcony of a relative’s house in the Red Sea area of Dahab, Egypt.
The younger man holding the placenta is the baby’s father, and a few minutes later, the mother joined them, dressed in a bikini as if she were any other beachgoer. Surprisingly, this sea birth was not accidental but intentional. According to Hadia, the elderly man holding the baby in the photo is an obstetrician who was called in to аѕѕіѕt with the planned sea birth.
The personal information of the mother and the health status of both mother and child after the birth were not disclosed. However, it is known that this family is Russian tourists, not locals. The photos also convey the family’s happiness and joy, suggesting that the birth went smoothly.
