During a tour of the Klopperfontein Dam in Kruger National Park in South Africa, Jill Mathew сарtᴜгed the moment a herd of buffalo a.t.t.a.c.k.e.d a lion to гeѕсᴜe a baby elephant.
Before that, the lions hid and rested in a bush near the lake that was about to dry up.
Meanwhile, the elephants gather in the lake bed to bathe in mud and get water to drink.
